- Wannabe character: Yorick Brown. Yes, I know that being the last man on earth sucks, but the more I read Y – The Last Man, the more my affinity for the character grows.
- Favorite comics: Tough call, but I’ll go with Astonishing X-Men, Artesia, Y – The Last Man, 100 Bullets, The Losers, Human Target, Hellboy, Batman: The Long Halloween, Age Of Apocalypse. A far as comic cartoons go PvP and Calvin & Hobbes.
- Favorite movie: Gladiator. Russell Crowe got voted #1 male hero of all time for his role as Maximus, beating out Sean Connery as James Bond in the process. Well deserved if you ask me, even though I like Connery’s Bond a lot.
- Favorite music: As a teen I was pretty fond of Michael Jackson. While I still like his music (except for Invincible which kinda sucked), my favorites among current music are Live and Coldplay. I’m starting to get into Jazz too. Big band swing, Duke Ellington and stuff like that.
- Favorite quote: “I believe that society will never dream like me” – Live (The Sanctity of Dreams) and “What we do in life, echoes in eternity.” – Gladiator.

- Wannabe character: Green Lantern. Creativity and imagination are two of the things I value most so having a ring that can bring such things to life would be pretty sweet.
- Favorite comics: Bone, JSA, Conan, Supreme Power, Sleeper, Liberty Meadows, Astro City, Arrowsmith, DC - The New Frontier… okay, I\'m gonna stop now.
- Favorite movie: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. I\'m an unabashed JRR Tolkien geek and I don\'t care who knows it!
- Favorite music: Classic rock, especially The Beatles, The Who, The Doors, and CCR. Also, my parents raised me on Broadway show tunes so I have an affinity for them too. What? Stop looking at me!
- Favorite quote: \"Elvis lives on in our hearts, in his music, and in a trailer park outside Milwaukee .\" – Animaniacs

- Wannabe character: John Constantine, Tommy Monaghan (Hitman)or any other character who spends way too much time in his local pub. Not so much wannabe characters as characters I can empathize with the most...
- Favorite comics: Where to start? Where to stop? Ostrander\'s Suicide Squad and The Spectre, the first twenty years of Amazing Spider-Man, Moore\'s Swamp Thing, Morrison\'s Animal Man, \'Mazing Man, Krazy Kat, early 2000AD, anything drawn by Joe Kubert, Jimmy Corrigan. Recent faves include Abadazad, Persepolis, anything by Joe Sacco, JSA, Fables.
- Favorite movie: Dead of Night, the classic supernatural chiller from the Ealing Studios in 1945. I never tire of rewatching that film.
- Favorite music: Anything by The Smiths or Morrissey. My musical tastes are pretty broad from Paul Simon to They Might Be Giants. The Hot Puppies are my number one fave new band of the moment. Check them out!
- Favorite quote: \"And when I\'m lying in my bed/I think about life and I think about death/And neither one particularly appeals to me\" from The Smiths song \"Nowhere Fast\". Who can\'t love a lyric like that?

- Wannabe character: If I could be any superhero I’d have to pick Spider-Man. I know that’s not very original, but it’s the truth. Peter Parker is the kind of fellow every guy wants to be like. Folks read a Spidey comic and think, “Hey, I’d really like to hang out with this guy!” Never mind the fact he’s really clever and he’s got cool powers, that’s just gravy.
- Favorite comics: I read a bunch of comics and he’s always picking up different stuff, but the comics that are put aside for my in my file at the comic shop are: Powers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Ultimates, Daredevil, Y: The Last Man, Hellboy, Runaways, MK Spider-Man, Invincible, and Planetary. But I also follow all the cool mini series that come out from time to time like Demo and Wanted.
- Favorite movie: While I have many favorites films, my number one favorite movie is Army of Darkness.
- Favorite music: I can be found listening to music from all types of genres, however most of what I listen to is punk and ska. My favorite bands include: Bad Religion, NOFX, Dead Kennedys, Alkaline Trio, Catch 22, and Propagandhi.
- Favorite quote: “I want to share something with you: The three little sentences that will get you through life. Number One: Cover for me. Number Two: Oh, good idea, Boss! Number Three: It was like that when I got here.” – Homer Simpson

- Wannabe character: The Beast. Not only was he remarkably agile for his size, he was more intelligent than his outward appearance might have indicated. As a bonus, he was blue and furry, which made all the ladies want to hug him.
- Favorite comics: I have been a fan of the Avengers in all their incarnations. I also like Captain America, 100 Bullets, Strangers in Paradise, Ex Machina, Gotham Central and anything pertaining to DC\'s Golden Age, especially JSA.
- Favorite movie: Heathers. Dark humor, immensely quotable dialog and Winona Ryder. Who could ask anything more from a movie?
- Favorite music: I have very diverse tastes in music, with everything from Rap to Country to Pop to Alternative in my CD collection. R.E.M. is my favorite band of all time, but the following bands get played a lot on my iPod: Nirvana, Barenaked Ladies, Weird Al Yankovic, Refreshments, Nellie McKay, Patty Griffin, Dixie Chicks, Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Ramones, Johnny Cash, Jared Campbell, Badlees, Dean Martin, Beatles, Pearl Jam, Lewis Black, Frank Sinatra and many, many more.
- Favorite quote: \"Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.\"

- Wannabe character: Mr. Mxyzptlk. I\'ll take the nigh-infinite power and the ability to prevent people from taking themselves too seriously, but pass on the bad haircut, thank you very much.
- Favorite comics: Box Office Poison, Death: The High Cost of Living, The Golden Age, Planet of Vampires, Kyle Baker\'s Plastic Man, Quasar, James Robinson\'s Starman, Watchmen, the Superman titles and just about any Silver Age DC comic.
- Favorite movie: My absolute favourite is constantly changing, but The Empire Strikes Back, Superman I & II, Clerks and Chasing Amy would all be strong contenders.
- Favorite music: I like a little bit of everything - Arlo Guthrie, Benny Goodman, Chris Isaak, Great Big Sea, Headstones, Monkees, Neil Diamond, The Pursuit of Happiness. Lately I\'ve been getting into Bif Naked, The Killers and Sunny Day Real Estate/The Fire Theft.
- Favorite quote: \"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference\" - Robert Frost (The Road Not Taken)

- Wannabe character: Warren Worthington III - He\'s got money, fame, good looks, and wings. Does it get any cooler?
- Favorite comics: Anything by Scott Morse, She Hulk, Superman/Batman, Cal McDonald Mysteries.
- Favorite movie: Zero Effect. Bill Pullman and Ben Stiller have never been better than in Jake Kasden\'s updating of the Sherlock Holmes detective.
- Favorite music: Old School Hip Hop and R&B. Classics baby!
- Favorite quote: \"It\'s hard to make a case for miracles, either you believe in them or you don\'t. I believe in them\" - Will Eisner

- Wannabe character: Mister Fantastic. SUper Intelligent, great friends, a hot wife, and is strectchy. I view stretchy as the opposite of squishy, which would be a nice change. Or Aquaman, but not any Aquaman that was ever cool. I\'d want to be the ultra-cheesy Super Friends Aquaman. My daily life would involve me constantly agonizing over how useless my powers really are.
- Favorite comics: My #1 will always remain the Fantastic Four. I like that they can be so disfunctional, but loyal...and their cosmic adventures. Liberty Meadows, Green Arrow, Hulk, Chris Giarusso\'s G-Man.
- Favorite movie: Star Wars the original trilogy. Han Solo. \'nuff said.
- Favorite music: The list is too long. Right now I\'m into Garage (Rock not 2-step) and 60s soul. Best concerts I\'ve been to: White Stripes, Soundtrack of Our Lives, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, They Might Be Giants, Devo/Yeah Yeah Yeahs/Stellastarr*
- Favorite quote: Right now it\'s a line from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle: \"In fact, just thinking about those tender little White Castle burgers with those little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in your mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one... just makes me want to burn this motherfucker down. Come on, Pookie, let\'s burn this motherfucker down!\" Can\'t think of it without laughing.

- Wannabe character: Darkhawk! He’s a total wannabe, a loner, a loser, and yet he’s destined to become the most well-known, respected, and feared super-hero in the entire cosmos. It’s like they knew me and, like, wrote about me! Oh my god, right?
- Favorite comics: Preacher (best ending ever), Darkhawk (oh, hush, it wasn’t that bad), Dr. Strange (where he becomes “Strange” and “Dr. Stevens” respectively – that was an amazing year-long storyline, issues #60-75 of the 90’s volume for anyone who’s curious) the Valiant UNITY saga, Thunderbolts, Exiles, Hellblazer, Berserk, Reiko the Zombie Shop, Usagi Yojimbo, TMNT, Nether: The Age of Naga, Runners: Bad Goods, and everything Crossgen published before they all died and went to heaven.
- Favorite movie: Casshern: The Robot Hunter, In the Mouth of Madness, The Stuff, They Live, Face/Off, Hard Boiled, Alien?, Robot Jox, Dagon, Wolfgang Peterson’s Shattered, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Suspiria, Aragami: The Raging God of Battle, The Devils, Batman (the first Tim Burton film)
- Favorite music: Blues Traveller, Barenaked Ladies, Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright, George Michael (including his Wham! days), Michel Legrand, Billy Joel, Silverchair, and Genesis
- Favorite quote: “In this age, which believes that there is a short cut to everything, the greatest lesson to be learned is that the most difficult way is, in the long run, the easiest.” - Henry Miller

- Wannabe character: Hawkgirl. Cool wing harness for flight capability, medieval weapons for taking down the bad guys, and Hawkman for eveything else. Who could ask for anything more?
- Favorite comics: Fell because it\'s a great read, a lot of echoes of Raymond Chandler. JSA because Goeff Johns routinely brings the goods month after month -- emotionally impacting stories with lots of action and a great respect for the Golden Age while making all the characters fresh and modern. Hunter-Killer; this is one title where just when you think you know what\'s going on, you find out you don\'t. You never know what new twist is going to be waiting around the corner. Legion of Superheroes; Mark Waid has given an interesting spin on the old Legion and I love the idea of people fighting for the right to be spontaneous.
- Favorite movie: Serenity. If I had to pick just one this one would claim my top spot right now. Joss Whedon blew me away with the story, the dialogue, the characters, and the twists that I did not see coming. This is one movie I think every fan of sci-fi movies should see.
- Favorite music: I like all kinds of music, from Classical to Celtic to Rock. The one band, though, that I can listen to consistently, though, is U2. These guys just keep coming back fresh album after album.
- Favorite quote: \"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.\" - Yoda, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Staff Writer
- Wannabe character: Mitchell Hundred (aka, \"The Great Machine\"). He\'s got great progressive ideas, plus he can talk to machines! I can\'t tell you how many times I would have loved to ask my TV how its day was.
- Favorite comics: Ex Machina, Kick-Ass, Invincible, Amazing Spider-Man, Superman: Secret Identity, Justice Society of America, Justice League of America, Batman and the Outsiders.
- Favorite movie: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Nothing can top Harrison Ford AND Sean Connery in the same movie... except if they added Bruce Willis. But then space and time would implode.
- Favorite music: I dig some jazz, but no one specific. I like Flogging Molly, Weezer, early Matchbox Twenty, and a lot of 90s rock. I\'m not ashamed to say that I am a fan of Michael Jackson\'s pre-1991 stuff. I\'m going to get beat up now, aren\'t I?
- Favorite quote: Marion: \"You speak treason!\" Robin Hood: \"Fluently.\" (The Adventures of Robin Hood)
