The guests keep on coming! Eternal Con is proud to announce the addition of Adam Kubert, Mark McKenna, and Bob Larkin to the sensational line-up of creators for this year’s event, taking place on June 14-15, 2014 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.
Adam Kubert is a comic artist best known for his work with Marvel Comics on Wolverine, Incredible Hulk, Ultimate Fantastic Four, and X-Men. Son of Golden Age legend Joe Kubert, with whom Adam collaborated on the Sgt. Rock strip in Wednesday Comics, Adam is both a graduate of and instructor at the famed Kubert School. Most recently Adam worked on Marvel’s Avengers vs. X-Men and Infinity crossovers and this past week released the highly anticipated Origin II, which further expands on Wolverine’s early days.
Mark McKenna is a 28 year veteran of the comic book industry. In that time he has worked on Batman, Wolverine, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and more recently on Star Wars, counting over 450 comics in all.
Mark’s most recent work can be seen on Legendary Picture Books PACIFIC RIM movie prequel, Dark Horse Comics Star Wars-The Old Republic: The Lost Suns. Last year his work on the online web comic titled “Star Wars: Blood of the Empire“ was collected into an 84 page trade paperback and was the lynchpin for the 2012 released Bio-ware online video game, The Old Republic.
Bob Larkin has provided cover artwork for every major U.S. book-publishing house, from Ace Books and Simon & Schuster to Random House and Penguin; created movie poster images for Columbia Pictures, Universal Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Troma Entertainment; and painted comic book covers for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Warren Publishing, and Penny-Farthing Press. Handpicked by renowned painter James Bama to be his successor as cover artist for Bantam Books’ Doc Savage pulp series, Larkin’s talents have been acclaimed by colleagues and art fans around the world.
