AVAILABLE AT THOUGHT BUBBLE!
Fraser Geesin – he of the splendidly funny and self-deprecating autobio comic The Cleaner: Man of Destiny – has a new comic debuting at Thought Bubble. Komisk is an IKEA-themed anthology inspired by Geesin’s perusal of various construction guides from the Swedish furniture store and re-imagining them as Scandinavian comics.
It comprises a main story ‘The Incredible Everyday’ by Geesin alongside a number of other DIY-style gag strips and includes contributions from fellow small pressers Paul Jon Milne, Tom Mortimer, Gareth A Hopkins, David Allison and Kathryn Briggs. We have some of Geesin’s pages below as a preview alongside two pages of David Allison’s darkly humorous ‘Spegelvärden’. Click to enlarge to read and make sure to grab it at Thought Bubble. As you can imagine from a Fraser Geesin comic it’s really very, very funny…
