The column spotlights the careers of industry greats and provides life lessons for new creators from their stories. Nick Prolix’s latest comic AROUND THE BLOCK WITH PROLIX #1 is being launched this Saturday, October 20th at Nottingham Comic Con.
The 16-page zine is printed in colour, black and white and zipatone and contains mini-comics, comic strips, pinups and works-in-progress featuring the cast of Prolix’s ongoing series Slang Pictorial drawn as famous characters from comics history.
The zine will be on sale on Saturday for £2.99 and will also be available to buy from the cartoonists online store, nickprolix.bigcartel.com where it is also possible to purchase the first three issues of Slang Pictorial. Issue 4 of Slang Pictorial will be coming to Kickstarter by the end of the year.
