Avery Hill Publishing, Broken Frontier Best Publisher Award winners for 2020, have announced six books coming this year and it’s another cracking line-up of returning artists and new names. A collection of Tillie Walden’s graphic novellas and short stories will kick off their year which also includes new work from AHP stalwarts B. Mure and Lizzy Stewart.
New to the line-up is Karen Shangguan whose practice we spotlighted here at BF back in 2019 when our Ally Russell Shields interviewed her here ahead of that year’s ELCAF. Also included is Clio Isadora who has featured a number of times at BF, most notably for her comic Is It Vague in Other Dimensions?, and the UK small press scene’s greatest unrecognised genius Lord Hurk who has also had multiple BF mentions, most recently for his Affordable Amazement anthology with a host of European indie and alt talent.
More details in the press release below.
