March 31st is the international Trans Day of Visibility where, in the words of GLAAD, we recognise “a day to celebrate the lives and contributions of trans people, while also drawing attention to the disproportionate levels of poverty, discrimination, and violence the community faces compared to cisgender (non-transgender) people.”
This is the shortest of posts to underline once again that Broken Frontier does, and always will, stand with our trans friends, colleagues and family, especially in these most troubling of times for the community. We have been steadily compiling a list of comics material exploring themes surrounding trans lived experiences or featuring trans characters at the forefront of their narratives. You can find it on our Resource Lists page here. And a reminder too that advertising for trans-related comics projects is entirely free at Broken Frontier. Contact our Andy Oliver here for more details.
