The long-awaited new series of Creating Comics debuts next month on YouTube featuring another impressive line-up of artistic talent talking about their work and the scene. The second series of Creating Comics UK (previously Creating Women) will premiere at 2 PM UK Time on 25 February. The series trailer is currently available on YouTube. This new series is supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland and is created in partnership with the University of Dundee. Creating Comics UK series 2 will feature nine comics professionals: comics editor and event organizer Nyla Ahmad, scholar Dr. Zanne Domoney-Lyttle, comics writer Etienne Kubwabo, and comics creators Hari Conner, Sarah Graley, Hicks!!, Ali Hodgson, Sonia Leong, and Lucy Sullivan. Over 12 episodes, the speakers will discuss their careers and thoughts curated around four themes: Production, Identity, Fan Culture, and Storytelling. After the premiere, the subsequent episodes will be released every Friday at 2 PM.
Creating Comics UK is a web series where UK-based comics creatives and professionals discuss their careers and lives.
