Yesterday the hashtag #hourlycomicday made its annual trending appearance on Twitter as comics practitioners from all aspects of the medium recorded their exploits and adventures with a comic strip for each hour of their waking day. From the observer’s relaxed and detached viewpoint it’s always one of the most fun days of the comics calendar as the assembled creators show off their quick wits and rapid fire compositional talents.
Today in ‘Small Pressganged’ I’m delighted to share the entire #hourlycomicday strips of one of our regularly featured artists in this column, the inimitable Danny Noble. Noble was one of my 2015 ‘Six UK Small Press Creators to Watch’, a Broken Frontier Breakout Talent Award 2015 nominee, and is one of the spotlighted creators in our recently announced Broken Frontier Small Press Yearbook. Her Ollie and Alan strips have been collected in two volumes to date (reviews here and here).
Join Danny as she struggles through a day of debilitating sinus problems, child-wrangling, illness-related hallucinations, and even a very special guest-star or two for aficionados of her back catalogue…

[…] Danny also managed to do something a little bit above and beyond with hers. Pfft, all these smart people. […]
