Another new London comics and zine fair in a year of inaugural events in the capital makes its debut this Saturday, August 24th. In/Between the GutterZ is free and runs from 11am-6pm (you can find out more on Eventbrite or on the fair’s Instagram). It aims to showcase diverse artists and the theme is described as being “In/Between the GutterZ, comics and zines [that] exist somewhere in the middle, stories that flow in between the gutter of a book.”

This is obviously exactly the kind of comics fair we need to see so much more of in UK comics! The guest line-up includes Kamipaper, Fundi, Saudah, Shazleen Khan, David Udoh, Yamahighway, Rien Bergaud, Kayla Lui, Alex Moore, Junie Tan, Kori Song and organiser Wilson So. Let’s hope it joins fellow 2024 London debutantes inQ and BrewZine as a regular fixture on the indie comics and zine circuit.
