More details below.
inQ! – A BRAND NEW QUEER LONDON COMIC FAIR LAUNCHES TO SHOWCASE LGBTQIA+ CREATORS
London, UK – 20th June 2024 – The inQ! queer comic fair, taking place at the London LGBTQ+ Centre on London’s South Bank, is set to showcase some of the UK’s best queer comic and zine creators on 7th September 2024.
The free event, held at the London LGBTQ+ Centre on the South Bank, is set to feature a diverse selection of queer comic creators from across London and the UK. Stalls will offer comics, zines, and exclusive art prints, as well as the chance to buy signed copies of graphic novels and one-off publications.
inQ! promises a diverse selection of queer, small press comic and zine creators, in a safe and welcoming space that celebrates the queer narrative where words meet pictures.
inQ! co-organisers and champions of all things comics, Manga Jiman award-winning artist Chloe Starling and Lauren O’Farrell (author and street artist Deadly Knitshade), have yet to reveal the invite-only guest list for the inQ! inaugural fair. Though with a logo designed by rising queer comics star and inQ! co-creator, Ed Firth, and a central London venue on the banks of the River Thames you can expect inQ! to make a splash.
inQ! aims to showcase queer comic talent, inviting attendees from all walks of life to explore the art, connect with the queer community, and learn more about LGBTQIA+ history, its grand heritage, and its hopes for the future.
inQ! is a community-focused, family-friendly event committed to celebrating the diverse, proud, and vibrant voices of the LGBTQIA+ community, and providing a platform for queer art and stories to find their way into the world.

About inQ!
Run on a voluntary, non-profit basis by Chloe Starling and Lauren O’Farrell, inQ! was created for the love of queer comics (and the possibility of free biscuits if we are really, really good).
At inQ! there are a few things we won’t shut up about: comics and zines, and the importance of celebrating the diverse, proud, and vibrant voices of our LGBTQIA+ community.
We absolutely believe art can smash barriers, and start conversations that need to be had. We want to help creators step out from behind their drawing boards and start sharing.
