A quick heads up that the inQ! queer comics fair (mentioned recently here at BF) will be running a drink and draw fundraising event on August 2nd. For those familiar with the Gosh! Comics and Broken Frontier D&Ds it follows the same format. A great line-up, a fab-looking night and an awesome cause! More in the press release below.
inQ! Drink and Draw Fundraiser at The Glitch, London SE1
Draw, drink, win prizes and meet phenomenal queer comic creators at our inQ! Drink and Draw Fundraiser.
All levels of artists welcome from stick-person scribblers to life-drawing legends.
Every penny raised helps inQ! Queer Comic Fair give LGBTQIA+ comic and zine creators a platform to share their self-published wonders with the world.
How does Drink and Draw work?
– There are 3 rounds of drawing
– Each guest artist sets a drawing prompt
– There’s a limited amount of time to draw your idea
– Our guest judge picks the round winner
– The winner gets a shiny prize(s) to take home
Anyone can win. It’s all about the idea.
Who is judging?
Our guest judges are 3 super talented queer comic artists:

Alex Moore (they/them) – London born and based illustrator who’s conjured comic art for the likes of Titan, Dark Horse and IDW
Hosting: Lara Loren (she/her) – Best known for her unparalleled movie-based West London Pub Quiz work, and her persistent dillydallying with WIP Comics Collective
