An exciting development from our friends over at the Cartoon Museum in London is coming this February 7th as they present the Cartoon Conference, the first in a planned annual event “give cartoonists and illustrators a chance to network and hear talks about different parts of the sector that will help them to develop their careers.”
From the site’s event page: “Are you a cartoonist or comic creator? Do you want to meet other cartoonists and comic creators? Do you want to learn from the best while doing it? Join us at Cartoon Conference 2022: Survival Guide for ideas and inspiration for how you can use your skills to survive and thrive as an artist. Learn from industry experts and specialists. How can you make working life work as a cartoonist?”
There’s a stellar line-up of guest speakers announced including cartoonists Martin Rowson, Ruby Etc, Natasha Natarajan, Nicola Solomon from the Society of Authors, the Association of Illustrators, Comics Laureate Stephen Holland and the Museum’s own Steve Marchant and Holly Burrows.
