We have been very clear about our stance on generative AI “art” here at Broken Frontier Towers. It’s a “one strike and you’re out” policy if you use it in your comics practice. We simply will not cover the work of anyone normalising this deeply unethical technology. And we’re not the only ones fighting the good fight to keep generative AI out of art. PAGANS AGAINST AI are sick of being told that Generative AI is our inevitable future.
We demand better than this planet destroying technology built on theft to enrich the worst people in the world at the cost of our very souls.
Our first action for Winter 2024/25 is a pamphlet containing: three magic spells you can cast to disrupt Generative AI, and resources you can use to avoid it.
We are sending 1000 pamphlets and 500 sticker sets to radical bookshops, occult bookshops and comic shops across the UK.
Who knows what they will do with them.
Representatives of PAGANS AGAINST AI will also be at Winchester Zine Fair and Thought Bubble.
