It’s back for its fifth year! Small Press Day 2020 will take place on Saturday July 18th!
The brainchild of cartoonist David Ziggy Greene, its aim is to provide a dedicated day for comic shops in the UK and Ireland where they can put a special spotlight on small press creators and their work and bring those artists into stores to meet readers. It also seeks to push their comics to new and wider audiences.
In association with and sponsored by the Alternative Press and Broken Frontier, Small Press Day’s organising team consists of David Ziggy Greene, Amneet Johal of the Alternative Press and myself, Broken Frontier Editor-in-Chief Andy Oliver. But the real stars of the show, of course, are all the local activists/shops who put on events and signings across the UK and Ireland!
